Reverend Thomas Farrow, Jr. is a native of New Bern, NC and is the only child of Thomas Sr. pastor-bio-pic2and Sharon Farrow. Rev. Farrow was called to pastor of First Baptist Church of Clinton in February of 2010. Under his spiritual guidance the membership has grown significantly, new ministries have been launched and existing ministries have been enhanced. His office is open to anyone in need of spiritual care and/or counseling.

Since coming to Clinton, Rev Farrow has become many things to many people. He’s not only a shepherd to his church family; he’s also a husband to his wife (Kembrie Farrow), a father to his adorable daughter (Kadence Farrow), a leader in the community and a lover of academia. Pastor Farrow serves God faithfully as evidenced by his unique and energetic preaching and teaching style.

Prior to coming to Clinton, Rev. Farrow served as an Associate Minister at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Durham, NC, where he studied under Rev. Dr. Glenn R Davis. His time in Durham can be traced to his college years where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling at North Carolina Central University. He is currently working on a Master of Divinity degree at Campbell University.

Rev. Thomas Farrow, Jr. has a firm conviction that the church does not exist exclusively for itself; the church must be concerned about those outside of the four walls. In that vein, since coming to Clinton, Rev. Farrow has committed his talents and time to help better the community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for United Way of Sampson County. He is also active with the NAACP, the Sampson County Crisis Center, plus he serves on the Emergency Food and Shelter Board. Above all, Pastor Farrow is a lover of God, who approaches the task of ministry with earnestness, sincerity and humility.
